HID bringing contactless security tech to Intersec 2011

CampusIDNews Staff   ||   Jan 12, 2011  ||   , ,

HID Global has announced that it will display its newly launched line of secure contactless payment and identification stickers at the Intersec Trade Fair and Conference 2011 - the largest safety and security event outside of Europe.

According to HID, their stickers allow users to add closed-loop payment and loyalty systems to existing systems, as well as augment campus identification systems with new access control capabilities.

Intersec 2011, which will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, from January 16 to 18, will feature the latest in security systems, surveillance and policing technology, advances in crowd control and monitoring systems, and the latest in health and safety developments.

“Intersec 2011 will put leading manufacturers and suppliers of the latest access control systems in touch with the large pool of potential clients in this region, where the security and policing industry is in high-growth mode,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt, organizer of Intersec.
