The bill in North Carolina that would make university student ID cards a valid form of voter identification is still stirring student voters. The latest university to grapple with the new campus card regulations is the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where university officials are working to meet the card issuance requirements by the new November 15 deadline.

CBORD has announced a partnership with Swipe Out Hunger, a national nonprofit organization working to end college student hunger. The pairing will offer students on CBORD campuses the option to donate meal swipes via the GET CBORD Student mobile app.

The University of Texas at Austin is working with secure identity solutions provider, CLEAR, to deliver a fingerprint access system for fans attending events at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. The partnership will begin with University of Texas football games, and marks the first college athletic program to join CLEAR’s nationwide network.
