Human Recognition Systems (HRS), a provider in biometric identity solutions, has deployed its biometric student attendance and management system for the higher education division of UK training provider, QA.
The MVerify platform offers QA mobile, real-time identification capabilities to monitor student attendance during teaching sessions, eliminating the need for manual capture and processing of information.
MVerify enables full reporting of attendance data within the platform itself, or data can be directly fed into an institution’s existing Student Information System. At QA, Human Recognition Systems recently integrated MVerify with the Tribal SITS:Vision Student Information System to deliver a fully integrated management and reporting solution.
In addition to reducing the costs and complexities around Home Office Tier 4 obligations, MVerify also increases student engagement with their course of study, leading to improved performance, experience and student retention.
QA has currently 100 percent student fingerprint enrolment and identification in class, processing on average 800 attendance transactions per day, with student identification and registration achieved within just three seconds. Prior to MVerify, data would have had to be manually collated, recorded and processed.
