U.S. Bank partners with Hamline University
A new partnership between Hamline University, Saint Paul, Minn. and U.S. Bank will enable the school to offer enhanced banking services to its students, faculty and staff through the school’s campus ID card.
The card, when linked to a U.S. Bank account, can be used at ATMs and as a PIN-based debit card. It’s also good at any merchant that accepts debit cards. Hamline’s ID Card also includes a meal plan and can be used in the library to check out materials.
“We are extremely pleased to offer the newly designed and increasingly versatile Hamline ID cards,” said Doug Anderson, the school’s vice president of finance. “This partnership will allow our students and employees the convenience of aligning a PIN-based U.S. Bank debit card and a Hamline ID card, should a student or employee choose to do so, eliminating the need for two separate cards.”
According to U.S. News & World Report, Hamline is the top-ranked university in Minnesota in its class. Founded in 1854, Hamline is also Minnesota’s first university.
