Tapingo brings delivery to Philadelphia
On-demand delivery available to Philly areas campuses for the first time
Mobile ordering company, Tapingo, has expanded the reach of its on-demand delivery and pickup services to the city of Philadelphia. Starting October 13, customers can download the Tapingo app for free, order food and goods from local merchants ahead of time, and for the first time leverage the app’s on-demand delivery service.
To celebrate the launch of Tapingo Delivery in Philadelphia, delivery fees for new customers are being eliminated and there will be special in-app promotions hosted for local favorites. The on-demand delivery service is available for hundreds of Philly restaurants, including popular franchises like Chipotle and Moe’s Tasty, as well as on-campus restaurants at Temple University such as Morgan Hall, Cosi Starbucks Tech Center, and the Howard Gittis Student Center.
Despite previously being live for pickup at other campuses in the city, Tapingo will now provide its full suite of services with the addition of on-demand delivery to Philly area campuses.
Coinciding with the app’s arrival in the City of Brotherly Love, is Tapingo’s official partnership with Temple University, which will serve as a hub for the app’s delivery program. As an added benefit, Temple students living on campus can use their meal plans and Diamond Dollars at all on-campus locations to pay for their orders.
In addition to Tapingo’s on-demand delivery service, the Temple community will also be able to leverage an advance mobile ordering service for pickup. Since its launch on campus just last month, thousands of Temple students, faculty and staff have already placed orders via the app.
