SALTO adds mini offering to XS4 suite of locks
SALTO Systems will showcase the latest addition to its XS4 line of locks, the XS4 mini, at IFSEC 2014.
The XS4 mini is part of SALTO’s broader suite of wireless products that focuses on developing innovative access control products with both the latest technology and an attractive design.
The XS4 mini includes all of the company’s standard features, like the SALTO Virtual Network SVN and wireless capability, but in a much smaller package with smaller installation needs and updated technology. The new mini lock features an advanced, built-in microprocessor that, out of the box, supports online connection, wireless technology and NFC.
The XS4 mini’s compact size, along with a contemporary LED aesthetic, marks a new design direction for SALTO. Moreover, in the coming months SALTO expects to grow its XS4 family of products with plans for a long-plate version, new wall readers, cylinders and a control unit.
Behind the XS4 mini and its siblings is Clay, SALTO’s new cloud-based access control system. Clay enables users to control their building access remotely, managing it in real-time from any device with an internet connection. SALTO will also be showing its latest additions to its GEO electronic cylinder range, as well as a new web-based access control platform.
IFSEC International is the largest event for the security industry that gives manufacturers, distributors and suppliers an opportunity to share with the public new technologies and solutions. The event will be held at ExCeL London June 17-19.
