NACCU welcomes Kristy Vienne as president of the Board of Directors

National Association of Campus Card Users (NACCU), serving the national and international campus card transaction industry, has announced Kristy L. Vienne as its president at the NACCU 20th Annual Conference on April 17.
Vienne was nominated NACCU president-elect at the Annual Meeting of the membership in Seattle in April, 2012. In accordance with bylaws, she began serving as president at the 2013 Annual Meeting and will serve through the 2014 Annual Conference.
She has been a member of the Board since 2009 and has contributed much to NACCU; serving as the conference chair for the 20th Annual NACCU Conference in Orlando in 2013 and helping to initiate the New Professionals Institute and Professional Development for the annual conference. She also helped develop the Standards Assessment Guidelines project.
Vienne received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing and Master of Arts in Student Personnel Services at Northwestern State University, and her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX in May 2010.
Vienne currently serves as the assistant vice president for Student Services at Sam Houston State University where she oversees Bearkat OneCard Services, Student Money Management Center, and Research & Assessment for Student Services, Staff Development, and serves as Technology Liaison for her division.
Furthermore, she is actively involved in the educational and research components of the card profession and the area of financial literacy in higher education, having published in both professional and academic journals on both topics.
She will also serve as Chair of Sam Houston’s Staff Council for the 2013-14 fiscal year.
