NACCU accepting nominations for board of directors

The National Association of Campus Card Users is now officially accepting nominations for its Board of Directors.
NACCU is an association that specializes in the campus card transaction industry, serving the national and international community. The association is the one source dedicated to high quality educational programs, resources, services and tools.
Through its many conferences and events, NACCU offers its members a number of advantages in networking, developing partnerships, leveraging technology, problem-solving, insight sharing and professional development.
NACCU is seeking nominations for energetic campus card professionals who have a passion for the campus card industry. An nominee is eligible to join the board if they meets the following requirements:
- At least three years of NACCU and campus card industry participation
- Attended at least one NACCU annual conference
- Have a minimum of one year NACCU committee service
- Have institutional support to serve as a volunteer board member
Brian Bollich current NACCU Board president, expressed his excitement over the new nominations, and the importance of NACCU’s role int eh campus card industry.
“I attended my first annual conference in San Antonio, Texas, in 2004, just weeks after I was given the responsibility of the campus card office,” says Bollich. “What I learned was that though all of our programs are different, the NACCU family was very willing to share information with me, and I came back from that conference with a wealth of information and many contacts.
Bollich quickly realized the importance of NACCU as an organization, joining his first NACCU committee shortly after attending his first conference. In the time since, Bollich has served on the Board of Directors for nearly 5 years.
The NACCU Nominating Committee will make its recommendations to the Board for an election slate for the new Board of Directors at the Fall Board meeting on November 4, 2014. The official online election will take place in November and December of 2014.
Nominees should can find more information about the board election process. NACCU is now, and will continue to accept nominations through Monday, September 15, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. MST.
