Administrators of career colleges and schools can now automate historically manual operations and integrate them with the processing of payments using technology from Heartland Payment Systems in partnership with Training Masters, a consulting and training company for post-secondary career schools.
Called Heartland Smart Ops, the Web-based, integrated school management system can handle financial, admissions and education management, as well as financial aid payments. It helps administrators manage their schools, especially the financial and reporting responsibilities that are vital to receiving grants and government funding, with no added investment in equipment, software or IT support.
Smart Ops also has a student portal feature which allows students to pay for tuition and other school-related expenses, and access their grades, class schedules, school event information, and security alerts.
Integrated into Smart Ops are Heartland’s payments solutions for card processing, online payments, check management and payroll and its Campus OneCard System that can be used for access and security, attendance tracking and financial aid and work-study funds disbursement.
