Georgetown gives students option of linking campus card with their PNC account
PNC Bank and Georgetown University have established a new banking relationship that provides students and employees the option to link their campus card to their PNC Bank account, eliminating the need for multiple cards on campus.
The Georgetown One Card, called the GOCard, will enable students to withdraw cash at any ATM and make purchases both on and off campus. In addition to the debit card, PNC offers students other money management tools and resources to help them, faculty and staff better manage their finances.
These services include:
- Free on-campus workshops on personal finance management;
- Products such as PNC’s Virtual Wallet Student designed to help students keep track of their money. It also includes mobile and text banking options.
- A customized Web site hosted by PNC, where students and employees can complete online account applications and view financial education information.
- One free incoming wire transfer a month plus a fee waiver of their first overdraft.
