Fujitsu unveiled its UniflDone package, an integrated solution designed to streamline management of user IDs across multiple systems spread throughout an academic environment.
UnifIDone simplifies the management of user IDs, passwords, names, affiliations, and addresses across the various system used in an academic setting, including personnel and student-life systems, library-information systems, and continuing education coursework systems.
The system gives universities a single system where user information can be recorded and updated, and allows them to manage settings such as e-mail environments and printing restrictions on either an individual or group basis.
Further, the Fujitsu program alleviates the stress of manually setting up, changing, and deleting IDs on each system. The system can also assign appropriate access permissions to each system automatically based on a student’s enrollment status – active, on leave, graduated.
