Clemson adds parking services to TigerOne campus card program
Clemson University students and employees on-campus will soon be able to use their TigerOne Card to pay for parking, thanks to the recent partnership with global parking giant Parkeon.
TigerOne Card is Clemson’s official University ID, and it provides students and employees access to variety of campus services including meal plan access, library privilege, entrance to residence halls, access into campus recreation centers, and entry at student athletic events.
In addition, the TigerOne Card contains a personal declining balance account called TigerStripe which is used at more than 300 locations on- and off-campus. Clemson and Parkeon collaborated on this integration to include parking payment as part of the list of TigerStripe Merchants.
The University currently has 21 Parkeon pay stations on campus. In September over 25,000 cash and credit card payments were performed. It is anticipated that parking payments with the TigerOne Card will start being accepted in November.
