Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies has revealed that campus card and integrated solutions specialist CBORD will be joining the aptiQ Alliance Program.
The aptiQ Alliance Program features a list of security-driven companies and the addition of CBORD will expand the Alliance’s reach into the education sector.
The relationship between CBORD and Ingersoll Rand is a longstanding. CBORD’s has customers at colleges, universities, health care facilities, and other industries that will provide the opportunity to incorporate aptiQ smart card and NFC-enabled smart phone credentials into an integrated security solution.
Campus solutions leveraging aptiQ smart cards operate in conjunction with CS Access – CBORD’s IP-based, university-specific door access control technology. A comprehensive security management system, CS Access provides a powerful privilege management system that allows campus officials to continuously track and configure door access all while tying the software to integrated alarm management, surveillance and notifications.
In addition to four-year colleges and universities, CBORD also provides solutions to two-year institutions, healthcare facilities, business and industry organizations and senior living facilities.
Mobile-based CBORD solutions work in unison with readers from Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies. Ingersoll’s “Open MyDoor” and “MasterKey” text-for-access solutions, and CBORD’s Mobile ID smartphone app can be used for the following:
