Technology retailer Best Buy has rolled out a back-to-campus promotion with offers for college students on the season’s popular tech products. Called College Student Deals students can visit Best Buy and register using their college email address to receive coupons redeemable in Best Buy stores.
The retailer has also introduced a new advertising campaign showcasing dorm room innovators who have made creative use of their technology.
Featured College Student Deals offers include:
Free Xbox 360 with a Windows laptop purchase of $699 or more (valid until Sept. 8);
$100 off the current generation Apple MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac (valid until Sept. 29);
Free $25 Best Buy gift card with the purchase of Windows 7 software (valid until Sept. 29 and includes Windows 7 Home Premium and upgrade software as well as Windows 7 Professional and Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade software);
$50 off Geek Squad Tech Support including virus and spyware protection (valid until Sept. 29).
College students need to sign up using their school email address ending in dot edu. After registering, they will receive an email with a link to coupons. To redeem offers, students click on the coupon link to generate single-use coupon codes, print the coupons and bring them into Best Buy along with a valid student ID.
Earlier this month, Best Buy launched its back-to-campus advertising campaign that features a series of innovators who have turned their dorm room into idea headquarters.
