It’s import to market a campus card program to both inform students and the campus community of the many uses for their ID as well as to reinforce the value that the credential holds. It can be difficult to make what is a fairly common task into a novel, engaging and fun experience for your target audience.
Enter the University of Arkansas and its “Card Love” PSA.
Each institution goes about marketing the campus card in its own way, ranging from social media campaigns to posting flyers around campus, running competitions or giveaways, and everything in between. But for the many tacts and approaches that universities have taken to promote their ID card, never has the card itself been a love interest.
Kudos to the folks at Arkansas for taking what can often be a canned and monotone marketing task and adding an original, comical spin. Setting it all to a Turtles classic is just the icing on the cake. Promoting the campus card doesn’t always have to be dry; sometimes it can even be romantic.
