NACCU has opened the floor to nominations for its 2013 line-up of awards.
Those interested can either nominate themselves or an associate, but submission will vary depending upon each specific award.
NACCU’s Distinguished Service Award is an annual honor given to the NACCU member who has advanced the industry, displays entrepreneurial spirit and is involved in R&D. The Service Award typically favors those who are actively engaged in the industry through participation on advisory boards and the educating of others through presentations and information sessions.
The New Professional Award is an annual award that is presented to an individual who has made significant contributions to their organization, the industry as well as to the Association within a relatively short period of time.
NACCU’s Innovative Technology Award is given to an organization that has introduced a unique and inventive technological solution to either solve a problem or create a new opportunity.
The Marketing Excellence Award is offered to recognize an institution’s innovative use of a variety of marketing tools and methods to enhance their card’s visibility and value on campus.
Feb. 8 will be the deadline to submit nominations for all of the above mentioned awards.
NACCU also features a line of marketing-based awards, for which the nomination deadline is March 1.
The Best Card Design is awarded to the institution that has created the most inventive and creative card solution. This award requires a submission of not only an institution but an image of the card design itself.
NACCU also awards the Best Social Networking or Web site used in conjunction with a campus ID card. This award requires nominees to send a PDF containing live links of the websites promoting the card program— a homepage, Facebook, Twitter, etc.— at which time NACCU members will vote online prior to the conference.
The final award offered by NACCU is for the Best Video of the year. This award is reserved for those card programs that have used creative video to promote their respective card solutions. Nominees must submit the videos to be judged online prior to the NACCU conference.
