RFID Healthcare Conference Shows How Tech Can Help

“RFID Innovation in Healthcare” is the theme for RFID Tribe’s Dallas, Texas, chapter meeting scheduled for July 20, 2007.

Dr. JC Chiao, associate professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, will make a presentation “RFID Innovation in Healthcare - Got heartburn? Got pain? Let RFID help you!”

The University of Texas at Arlington focuses on integration of RFID and biomedical sensors for disease diagnosis and therapeutic treatment. Dr. Chiao will discuss recent developments of wireless GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) sensors, pain management systems and SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) monitoring systems in his research group.
