The Canadian Association of University Business Officers recognized Wilfrid Laurier University for its innovative and wide ranging use of its card program to serve students and improve efficiencies. The General Meters system serves as a library card, access card, a credit card (for faculty and staff), a host of on and off campus purchasing, and even for taxis and bus rides. 

Boston College joins ten other summer installs for CBORD's Webfood

Ten campuses had already purchased the Webfood online dining solution from CBORD this summer, and now add Boston College to the list. The campus will use it to enable online ordering of meals for pickup and delivery and facilitate card-based payments using their CS Gold card system.

While the university had no security problems, the new CBORD-installed system provides a major benefit: students and staff feel safer. CBORD adds 61 new clients during last fiscal year
