Arlington Public Schools installs visitor management, background checks and all

Monday, August 29, 2011

The new system would require visitors to the school district to submit their driver’s licenses for background checks - making sure they’re not predators or have a restraining order against them or anything that would prevent them from being in school - before stepping foot onto campus.

The visitation program scans the driver’s license and uses the information and photos to make temporary pass visitors carry with them during their stay on campus.
