CBORD updates NetNutrition, brings campus menus and nutrional value to student's mobile phones

Friday, July 15, 2011

The CBORD Group recently seeded an update for its online nutritional information solution, NetNutrition. NetNutrition lets students view menu offerings, filter by dining location, allergens, or other preferences and see nutritional information.

The latest release brings NetNutrition directly to student’s smart phones, enabling access to nutritional information anywhere, any time. An enhanced user navigation that makes it easy for students to make informed dining choices, improving service and satisfaction.

NetNutrition offers parents peace of mind knowing their children are eating well away from home. “Whether an individual wants an accurate calorie count, wishes to dine according to cultural or ethical dietary guidelines, or needs to avoid certain allergens,..NetNutrition helps us do that,” says Zia Ahmed, senior director of dining services, The Ohio State University.

Fully integrated with Foodservice Suite, NetNutrition is powered by campus menu data, eliminating the need to update each system individually. And graphical site customization makes it easy for universities to design the site to match their existing online identities. [end]
