Higher One, Adirondack Solutions offer online payment portal for Ohio University

Thursday, May 12, 2011

Higher One Payments, a financial services company focused on higher education, has partnered with Adirondack Solutions at Ohio University in Athens to integrate Higher One’s CASHNet eMarket online payment portal with Adirondack’s Housing Director software that aids in the management of college and university residential housing.

Through this partnership Adirondack will benefit from the PCI compliance that CASHNet eMarket provides. MyHousing ApplyOnline, the application portal that Adirondack uses is now able to accept payments from students via Higher One. It’s convenient for both students and administrators because all payment information is contained in one place.

“The Department of Residential Housing continually evaluates the services we provide to our students and looks at opportunities to enhance the student’s overall experience,” said Jneanne Hacker, Ohio University’s assistant director for contract management. “By directly integrating the housing application with the on-line payment process, we have simplified and improved the overall experience for our students while streamlining our internal business processes.” [end]
