NuVision awarded statewide contract

The State of South Carolina has tapped NuVision Networks, Napa, Calif., to provide its colleges and universities with the company’s CampusOne One Card system.

The One Card integrated suite includes ID card production; commerce, event and door access transaction systems; cashless vending and laundry; online student voting, e-commerce, event ticketing and parking permit registration; and dining services.


South Carolina’s schools will also now be able to utilize CampusONE’s real-time data integration with various systems including Banner, Jenzabar, PeopleSoft and Datatel.

In addition, the schools will be equipped to benefit from NuVision’s business partner interfaces, such as laser print management, laundry systems, bookstores, payment processing and off campus commerce. [end] 

Cubic Transportation Systems has been awarded a $65 million deal, through its Australian division, to provide for passenger rail operations in Sydney.

The three-year contract includes expanded operations, maintenance of ticketing equipment, infrastructure and delivery of associated services by Cubic to RailCorp (Rail Corporation New South Wales). The contract includes provisions to be extended within two one-year options for services.

Campus card provider NuVision Networks, Napa, Calif., has named Brian Adoff as the company’s new executive vice president.

Adoff, formerly NuVision’s national sales manager, will now oversee company-wide operations and develop strategic partnerships.
