PNC provides banking services to Grove City College students and staff

Tuesday, September 7, 2010

Grove City College, Pa, and PNC Bank have formed a relationship to give personal banking products and services to more than 2,900 students, faculty and staff.

As of part of the arrangement, students, faculty and staff will have the option to link their Grove City College photo ID card to a PNC account, adding ATM and purchasing functionality to the campus cards already used for daily activities, such as entering residence halls, checking out library books and accessing meal plans.

PNC will also host financial literacy workshops for students and employees on the Grove City College campus, covering topics on basic banking, credit management, savings and investing, and identity protection.

The relationship will also feature personal banking products and services including Virtual Wallet Student, an online banking solution designed to help college students help themselves with money management, along with mobile banking options. An ATM will also be installed in the Breen Student Union, capable of cashing checks down to the dollar, available in September. [end]
