Safe Card ID now offers Evolis Printer and ID card software

Tuesday, August 31, 2010

Safe Card ID, an online retailer of security card printing systems and identity kits, is expanding its ID card software and printer line. The Evolis Printer joins Zebra printers to help Safe Card’s customers meet their in-house ID printing needs.

Safe Card ID’s newest line of business security enhancement products is not limited to badge holders and printers. The company also now offers ID card printer supplies as well.

Safe Card ID owner Gary Stephens notes that printing photo IDs in-house is both an effective and economical solution that keeps vendors, employees and customers safe. When standard photo ID cards are augmented with magnetic stripe encoding, they can be used with special access door locks and time clocks for increased security. This means it’s possible for employers to know what employees enter and leave the building at a particular time.

In the event of corporate fraud or theft, an employee’s records can be accessed to check whether or not he or she was on company grounds at the time of the incident. [end]
