CBORD Group celebrates 35 years

The CBORD Group celebrated 35 years of serving higher education institutions with products used in a variety of campus services, including campus ID card privilege control, access control and housing and food services.

Founded in 1975, CBORD signed its first clients and demonstrated how automation could improve efficiencies.

Since then, CBORD’s clients have reached more than 6,000, offering cashless card systems, integrated security solutions, discount and off-campus commerce programs and housing management software. [end]

This Converged Access group will build on technology designed for Identity as a Service/SaaS products like idOnDemand, as well as work with Identive’s products in the network access smart reader technology field.

The OneCard from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, can now be used at three off-campus restaurants with more merchants set to join.
