Jolly releases new version of ID management software

Jolly Technologies, a San Carlos, Calif.-based security ID software provider, has released the latest versions of its Lobby Track, ID Flow and Label Flow software that can help colleges and businesses manage visitors, track student attendance or staff time and attendance, manage events and track assets.


New solutions provided in the 4.3 release include: business card and international driver’s license scanning for fast registration; student absence and tardiness tracking for attendance; national-sex-offender watch list checking for school safety; accounting code logging for time and attendance; transaction and balance recording for gift and loyalty cards; and rule verification for secure badge printing.

The release also includes new options for record initialization, automatic updates, better database synchronization, duplicate record processing, contextual default values, and record and image exporting. Users will also find performance improvements, especially when working with large sets of records. [end] 

Neurotechnology announced that it has developed three versions of embedded solutions for Android-powered devices such as smart phones and tablets.

Specifically, Neurotechnology has ported its VeriFinger Embedded software development kit (SDK), which authenticates user identities via fingerprints, VeriLook Embedded SDK, which authenticates user identities via facial recognition, and MegaMatcher Embedded SDK, which authenticates user identities via both fingerprints and facial recognition. A version that utilizes iris recognition also is in the works.

DigitalPersona announced the release of a new version of its Pro Enterprise software solution, version 5.2.

Among the aspects of the new version DigitalPersona is touting are the extensive number of factors a company utilizing the solution can use to authenticate for access to sensitive information or secured computer stations. These factors include what a user knows, such as PINs or passwords, things you have, such as smart cards, contactless identity cards or Bluetooth devices, and things you are, such as fingerprints.

Jolly Technology has announced support for QR bar codes in all products: Lobby Track, ID Flow, Asset Track and Label Flow. The company envisions uses of the technology will be for ID verification, ticketing, trade shows and other uses for the transfer of personal information.
