Loyola converts card system to CBORD

Loyola University in Chicago has selected the CS Gold campus card solution provided by Ithaca, N.Y.-based CBORD to replace its current card system. The university will use CS Gold to manage card-based purchasing, privileges, online account management and more for its 15,670-student campus.


Loyola is one of several new accounts CBORD has signed up in the past year, including Emerson College, Boston; the University of Chicago; Young Harris College, Georgia; Hocking College, Nelsonville, Ohio; Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia; Kern Schools Federal Credit Union, Bakersfield, Calif.; Christiana Hospital, Newark, Del.; and Queens University of Charlotte, N.C.

The CBORD Group serves more than 6,000 clients in the U.S., Canada, Europe, South Africa, the Middle East, New Zealand, and Australia. [end] 

PNC Bank and Loyola University Chicago have teamed together to provide personal financial services to the university’s nearly 16,000 students, faculty and staff.

As part of the new campus banking relationship, PNC will host financial literacy workshops for Loyola students and staff, covering topics ranging from basic banking to credit management and identity protection, savings and investing, as well as home buying.

Students at Louisiana Tech University are using their campus card and Tech Express account at local merchants thanks to CBORD’s UGryd. The cards have been used for on-campus purchasing since the mid-1990s but this is the first foray into the community.
