HID Global announced its partnership with Lipi Data Systems Ltd. for local assembly and distribution of HID Global’s Fargo brand printers in India.

Located at Udaipur, India, the new production and assembly plant for HID’s Fargo brand printers began its operation as of June 2009, while the first lot of locally assembled printers is scheduled for delivery in early July. Customers are encouraged to contact HID Global India’s regional sales representatives for updates on local availability.
