CBORD awarded Novation contract

Thursday, March 19, 2009

The CBORD Group Inc., a provider of food and nutrition management solutions, cashless card systems, and access control solutions to colleges and universities and health care facilities, announced it will continue its partnership with Novation. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Novation, a group purchasing organizations, awarded CBORD its second consecutive supplier contract. CBORD will continue to be a provider of food service management systems, transaction-processing systems, and security access systems to Novation members and affiliates through January 2012.

This partnership enables Novation to offer preferred pricing on software packages to its college and university and health care and members —software that improve the efficiencies of their food service operations and their security access systems.

Novation is a contracting services company delivering services to more than 2,500 members and affiliates of VHA Inc., the University HealthSystem Consortium, and more than 12,000 Provista customers. In 2007 VHA, UHC, and Provista members used Novation and alliance contracts to purchase $33.1 billion in supplies and services. [end]
