CardSmith, GoPrint provide seamless network printing solution

Monday, January 26, 2009

GoPrint Systems, San Ramon, Calif. and CardSmith, Doylestown, Penn., have announced a partnership that will provide fee-based printing and copying services and recover costs using CardSmith’s Web-based campus card transaction system with the GoPrint GS-4 Solution.

The partnership was formed when a mutual customer, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, asked both companies whether a certified direct interface was possible.

The new offering improves student services by increasing the number of locations at which cards may be used, and allows university and college IT departments to manage network printing costs with a self-service solution. The Web payment interface to CardSmith’s campus card transaction center is seamless and secure. [end]

Jaspersoft announced that CardSmith is using its business intelligence suite to provide campus customers with better decision-making through Web-based reports, dashboards and analysis.

CardSmith embeds Jaspersoft in its Software as a Service (SaaS) transaction solution enabling administrators to create reports that analyze student and consumer behavior. The CardSmith managed service provides educational institutions with campus card services without the incremental IT resource investments.
