HID Global teams with Dynamic Card Solutions to provide instant issuance

Tuesday, March 25, 2008

HID Global has teamed with Dynamic Card Solutions (DCS) to launch the CardWizard FCP 20/20 instant issuance financial card printing system. The system is aimed at banks, credit unions and retailers for on-site instant issuance of debit, credit and prepaid cards. HID’s line of Fargo’s HDP functionality offers superior card image quality, essential in the financial card industry.

The CardWizard FCP 20/20 provides card issuers with the capability to do full card personalization including full-color, high definition, over-the-edge front and back graphics on the fly. That means multiple pre-printed card stocks are no longer required at the branch to instantly issue a variety of card types. This simplifies administration, branch operations, and card production. Each card will be printed on-demand starting from “branded white stock” that only has the pre-printed association brand, holographic foil stamp, security signature panel, and CVV2/CVC2 security box. [end]
