VisionBase PockeTracker passes Motorola validation tests
PockeTracker, the VisionBase-designed software that enables hand helds to log individuals in and out of events by reading their ID cards, has received Motorola validation, assuring customers and partners of system interoperability between Motorola devices and VisionBase applications and solutions.
Jupiter, Fla.–VisionBase, announced its PockeTracker successfully achieved SymbolPLUS validation through completing Motorola’s Solution Validation Program that includes joint testing at the Motorola Solution Center in Holtsville, New York. PockeTracker provides mobile ID card tracking in order to provide individuals the ability to permit or deny access as well as keep track of custom information in data fields. PockeTracker, was granted the SymbolPLUS Validated™ Software logo through Motorola’s Solutions Validation Program. This designation will help assure customers and partners of system interoperability between Motorola devices and VisionBase applications/solutions.
PockeTracker is used to log individuals in and out of events by ID card reading. It runs on select Motorola enterprise digital assistants (EDAs) or any PocketPC device paired with an appropriate card reader. It has an easy-to-read red or green display for permitting or denying entry. It can track simple attendance or be used for paperless ticketing. It contains a mustering feature that allows the user to quickly identify who is in, or who is not in a building, a bus, or any other location. It can also tally points for loyalty applications.
“We are excited about becoming Motorola SymbolPLUS Validated. Motorola’s EDAs have proven to be most efficient and reliable, and are excellent hardware counterparts to pair with our PockeTracker software,” said Emil Bonaduce, president of VisionBase.
Motorola’s Solutions Validation Program enables partners to test and validate their mobility solutions on Motorola products to help ensure interoperability and meet the customer application-specific needs, as well as reduce both the risk level and the time to deployment for the customer. Working closely with the Motorola Solution Center engineering team, PockeTracker has been tested and co-validated on select products, including the Motorola MC35, MC50 and MC70 EDAs.
The terms of the validation, including disclaimers, are set forth in the Test Agreement between Motorola and VisionBase and the validation report.
