More than 328,000 students now choosing Higher One’s OneAccount

With the recent addition of Texas A&M, Corpus Christi, bringing to 85 the number of schools utilizing Higher One’s OneDisburse Refund Management system, the company reports that some 328,000 students are now using Higher One services. In addition, account usage has increased by 37% since January, 2007.

In the last year alone, Higher One has increased its account usage by 37%, adding just over 122,000 accounts since January 2007 with more than half of those accounts added since August 2007.

Higher One also announced that Texas A&M, Corpus Christi has signed an agreement to utilize Higher One’s OneDisburse® Refund ManagementSM bringing the total number of colleges and universities in the U.S. working with Higher One to 85. Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, has partnered with the Discover Money Network to enable students to open an account with the university’s Student Account Services. It would be separate from their school account and can be used anywhere Discover cards are accepted.
