Thursday, July 6, 2006

Thanks to its partnership with Equitrac, CBORD can now offer its university customers centralized management of network printing and copying. The agreement also allows students, faculty and staff to pay for these services with their campus cards.

Ithaca, New York– The CBORD Group, Inc., the world’s largest supplier of cashless dining and campus-wide ID card programs, announced that it has partnered with Equitrac Corporation, the leader in intelligent cost recovery and print management solutions worldwide, to provide an Odyssey account interface for network printing via Equitrac Express 4.

The partnership gives colleges and universities centralized management of network printing and copying and allows students, faculty, and staff to use campus cards to pay for services.

“Equitrac is very pleased to integrate the popular CBORD Odyssey campus-wide accounting system with the waste-reduction and cost-containment benefits of our Equitrac Express 4 solution,” said Chris Wyszkowski, VP Product Marketing & Management at Equitrac. “This powerful partnership allows simple access to output devices while simultaneously providing cost controls and multiple charging options.”

Mark Reinart, Director of Business Development at CBORD, is enthusiastic about the partnership. He added, “The Equitrac solution with the interface to the CBORD Odyssey system is another example of how CBORD’s partnership program combines popular solutions to give users more features and options.”
