Datacard Group announces ROHS-compliant card printers and image capture solutions

Datacard’s line of card printers comply with the European Union’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, the company recently announced. The RoHS directive deadline is July 1 and affects all EU member nations.


Minnetonka, Minn.–Datacard Group announced that the company’s complete line of Datacard SP Series card printers and Datacard Tru Photo solutions comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. These products are currently available to help our customers meet the July 1, 2006, RoHS directive deadline, which affects all European Union (EU) member nations.

Digital Identification Solutions announced it has received purchase orders from three separate driver license programs.

The first of the orders is from L-1 Identity Solutions for the State of Kentucky, and another is from 3M for the State of Arkansas. Furthermore, the State of South Carolina, a customer for several years, has also decided to extend its current install base.
