10 million Mifare Ultralight tickets sold to Oslo transit program
The worlds largest single order for Mifare Ultralight tickets has been awarded to Magnadata International by Thales based near Paris. The tickets are to be used for a new fare collection system being installed by Thales Transportation Systems in OSLO for the city’s underground.
Working with Thales over a 2 year period, Magnadata has been awarded this order on several merits but mainly the high reliability of the product following extensive testing by Thales at their development centre. The paper tickets incorporate an etched antenna, which has demonstrated a higher reliability in use than other technologies available, with high quality UV printing on both sides.
