New print magazine, Regarding ID, launched by AVISIAN Publications

In response to the feedback we’ve received from many of our subscribers and partners, we are proud to announce the premier issue of a new print compilation of AVISIAN ID News. Regarding ID will make its debut on March 15 and will offer a compilation of articles from CR80News, SecureIDNews, ContactlessNews and RFIDNews.

Wired prints first NFC-enabled magazine ad

Wired magazine has announced that its April 2012 issue contains the a magazine ad using NFC technology.

Wired readers can tap their NFC-enabled smart phone against a 2013 Lexus GS advertisement to automatically connect to a Web site where they can explore the automaker’s new in-car navigation and information service, Enfrom with Safety Connect.

Magicard rolls out upgraded Enduro+ printer

UK printer manufacturer Magicard has upgraded one of its ID card printers, now called Enduro+. The redesign includes fraud proof ID card printing technology which helps to reduce costs and make card printing quicker and more secure.
