Integrated Solution Enables Anytime/Anywhere Student Print With Print With New Levels of Cost-Effectiveness

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sequiam Corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary Sequiam Software Inc. (www.sequiamsoftware.com), a leading information management and software technology company offering a family of enterprise print and secure document management solutions, and Blackboard, Inc, a leading provider of enterprise software and services to the education industry, announced the integration of Sequiam’s Print It 101 student print offering with the Blackboard Transaction System(TM) through the Blackboard Building Blocks® program. This new initiative will enable university students to access – and pay for – campus printing services on an anytime/anywhere basis. The companies l introduced this integration at the annual meeting of the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) in Orlando, Florida, Oct. 24-27. Blackboard-enabled Print It 101 is immediately available.

“We are pleased to introduce this important addition to our software suite at the NACAS event,” said David Dobkin, President of Sequiam Software. “NACAS, the largest auxiliary services support organization serving higher education, offers the ideal venue for unveiling this new capability. We are excited to bring this new initiative to thought leaders in the education industry – a first in a family of solutions which we will introduce to the market with Blackboard.”

With Blackboard-enabled Print It 101, students can access campus printing resources from anywhere there is Internet connectivity, using the familiar Blackboard Transaction System campus-issued cards to pay for printing services. Campus print shops receive direct cash disbursement for services rendered and benefit from Print It 101’s ability to deliver reliable files that print perfectly each and every time. Additionally, students benefit from access to printing services that can often provide a dramatic cost benefit over expensive distributed devices or off-campus print and copy services.

“Working with Sequiam, we are able to further expand and enhance the Blackboard® suite of services for our clients on a practical level,” said Kathy Turany, Vice President Business Development. “Together we can better meet the increasing array of student and university needs.”
