CHICAGO (October 4, 2004) – Arthur Blank & Co., Inc. (www.arthurblank.com), the leader in card marketing solutions, has announced the expansion of its production facility by more than 12%, and the addition of new equipment at their now 80,000 sq. ft. Boston facility.

This new space and capital equipment are part of the company’s planned expansion which has now reached a capacity of more than 1.3 billion high quality plastic cards per year, more than any single card production facility in North America.

Retailers have been asking distributors to provide full service delivery from the factory to each individual retail store. To meet the needs for drop shipments and custom small packaging, Arthur Blank & Co. has just added a new high speed packaging machine that packs cards in bundles of 25, 50, and 100 – or smaller.

The company has added a fourth high speed Burkle laminator to its facility to increase both production and turn-around time for its customers. Arthur Blank & Co. is the only credit card facility in the world to deploy four of these machines.
